This Privacy Policy explains how TrueHome Inspection (operated by Fryer Building Diagnostics, Inc., a Florida home-inspection company in Jacksonville, FL) collects, uses, and protects your information when you book or receive a home inspection, use our website, or receive communications from us. It also describes, in detail, our text-messaging (SMS) practices.
When you book or receive an inspection, we collect the information you provide — your name, email address, mobile phone number, the property address to be inspected, and details about the service you request. When you use our website, we collect basic, aggregate usage information (such as the pages visited). We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.
If you provide a mobile number when booking, we may send you text messages related to your inspection. Here is exactly how that works:
No sharing of your mobile information. We do not sell, rent, lease, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or consent information with any third party, affiliate, or partner for marketing, promotional, or any other purpose. Mobile information and text-messaging consent obtained through the booking form will not be shared with any third parties. The only providers who ever touch this information are the service providers that help us deliver the messages you asked for (for example, our SMS delivery provider), used solely for that purpose, and any disclosure strictly required by law.
We do not sell your personal information. In the ordinary course of an inspection we may share inspection-related details (such as the report or scheduling information) only with the parties to your transaction as you direct — for example, the real-estate agent you tell us is involved — and with the service providers who help us operate (such as our scheduling and email providers), only as needed to serve you.
For clarity, this sharing does not apply to your mobile phone number or SMS consent. Those are never shared for any purpose except delivering the messages you requested, as described in the SMS section above.
Our website uses only first-party, functional cookies (for example, to remember that you dismissed a notice). Maps and imagery on the site may be provided by third parties (such as Google), which may set their own cookies to deliver those features. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings.
