TrueHome is a brand of Fryer Building Diagnostics, Inc. ("TrueHome," "we," "us," or "our"), a residential home-inspection company based in Jacksonville, Florida. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at https://truehomejax.com, our booking site at https://book.truehomejax.com, and the inspection services we provide.

Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you request or book an inspection or otherwise contact us, including your name, email
address, mobile and other phone numbers, property/service address, and details about the inspection you are requesting. When a real-estate
agent is party to a booking, we may collect that agent's contact information as well. We also automatically collect limited technical information when you use our website, such as your device, browser, and IP address, through standard web technologies.

How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to: schedule, perform, and deliver your home inspection and related reports; communicate with you about your appointment, including confirmations, reminders, scheduling changes, on-the-way/ETA updates, and notifications that your report is ready; process payments and maintain business and accounting records; respond to your questions and provide customer support; operate, maintain, and improve our website and services; and comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business: with service providers who perform functions on our behalf (such as scheduling, messaging, payment processing, and report hosting), with the real-estate agent or other party connected to your transaction when appropriate, and when required by law or to protect our rights. Your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, and text-messaging consent are handled separately and are never included in any of the sharing described above: we do not share them with the real-estate agent, any other party to your transaction, or any third party or affiliate, for any purpose. The only party that ever processes your mobile number is the messaging provider we use to deliver the texts you requested, acting solely on our behalf. See the SMS / Text Messaging section below for specific commitments regarding your mobile number and texting consent.

Data Retention & Security
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain inspection records, and meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping requirements, after which we delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

SMS / Text Messaging
If you choose to opt in, we send transactional, customer-care text messages related to your inspection. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
- Opt-in. You opt in to text messages by checking the SMS consent checkbox on our booking form, located directly below the Mobile phone field. This box is unchecked by default; you must check it yourself to consent. Consent to receive text messages is not required as a condition of booking or purchasing an inspection.
- Types of messages. Messages are transactional and may include booking and appointment confirmations, agreement and appointment reminders, day-of "inspector on the way" / ETA updates, and "report ready" notifications.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your inspection and its progress.
- Costs. Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt-out and help. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at dan@truehomejax.com.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in, or text-messaging consent with any third party or affiliate — for marketing, promotional, or any other purpose. The only exceptions are the messaging provider that delivers the texts you requested (acting solely on our behalf) and disclosures required by law. No mobile opt-in information is ever shared with the real-estate agent or any other party to your transaction.

Your Choices
You may decline to provide certain information, though this may limit our ability to provide services. You can opt out of text messages as described above. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us using the details below, and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

Children's Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
